Phone insurance typically costs $8-15/month or $50-100 for a trip policy. Our most expensive repair (iPhone 16 Pro Max screen) is Rp 1.500.000 (about $95). For older models, repair costs are much lower.
When Insurance Makes Sense
If you have a brand new flagship phone and plan extensive water activities, insurance can be worth it. For phones over 1 year old, local repair is usually cheaper.
Better Alternative
