Keep phone in shade, remove thick cases in heat, avoid charging in direct sun, close background apps. Never leave your phone on a car dashboard or poolside table in the sun.
Cooling Down
Move to shade, turn off the phone, remove the case. Never put it in a fridge or freezer -- rapid temperature change causes condensation inside. Let it cool gradually.
When It Is Serious
